Trusting God Whilst in Pain

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4 NLT

I find myself in deep sorrow because my lifelong dream is being placed on the back burner by God. I’ve always desired to have a healthy love 💕 As a child, I was obsessed with Disney princesses. As a child, I viewed myself as a Disney princess that will soon have a healthy love/ marriage and family. I’m still waiting for this healthy love, and the Father continues to tell me to wait. Although, it hurts I completely understand why He wants me to wait. He wants me to wait because He is teaching me to  have patient with Him and myself. I’ve always struggle with patience with myself but not others. Since seeking God I’ve been slowly having more patience with myself and Him. For if I do not have patience with myself then I do not have patience with God within me. At this time, I will continue to wait because this is a journey. In this journey, the waiting is more important than the destination. For my faith is tested in this area so that I can have perseverance like the Father. For my perseverance, will eventually be fully developed  and I will be fully whole through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is my everything and I shall not want, need, and desire anything more than Him. While I wait, I am going to see all the opportunities I need to seek to become more aligned with God. Every obstacle is an array of opportunities! We must seek all of the opportunities with joy! For this whole life is a gift full of opportunities! Father, please give us your strength! Help us remember that when we are waiting then we are in good company! For if we are in a waiting season then this indicates that you are fully in our lives! It shows that we do have a relationship with you. We thank you for that Lord. May we continue to grow closer to you. May we be more like you! May we continue to seek your heart and ensure that our heart aligns with yours. May your will be our will. Let your will be done. In Jesus name. Amen. 🙏🏽
