Trust the Lord

Good Morning sweet soul,

“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”

Isaiah 26:4 ESV

Is there something that you are longing for? Whether it is a dream (s) to be fulfilled? Whether it is a promotion? Whether it is a desire to be with someone? Whether it is a desire to create a family? Well dear friend you are not alone! We have all been there ! If God has you waiting, then you are in good company ! For Moses waited 80 years to fulfill Gods will for His life! Jesus waited 30 years to fulfill His ministry! For Abraham and Sarah waited 25 years before Issac was born. Issac waited 20 years before his children were born. Joseph waited 13 years to be set free! Notice the pattern that God has with all of these followers! He wants them to have patience with Him just like He has patience with us! He truly desires our character to align with His ! He wants us to understand that trusting Him is always better than relying on ourselves! We constantly change but God remains same! God is faithful, good, pure, and loving! God proves that He always fulfills His promises, which is why we say Amen. Amen is an agreement with God stating that we have faith that He will fulfill His promises ( A in Latin means without, amen=without men). Therefore He fulfills His promises without men! For when we wait God provides more than we can imagine because His thoughts are higher than our thoughts! His ways are higher than our ways! There is a saying that Gods timing is different than ours, but I believe that Gods timing is the ultimate truth! Since Gods is the absolute truth and He never changes then His timing most be the accurate timing ! For our concept of timing is limited since our minds are limited! However, Gods mind is limitless ! Therefore, if Gods mind is limitless, He does the impossible, He always fulfills His promises, He is the truth, His timing is the true timing then why can’t we trust Him? Trust in our God since He has always been faithful! Today, we should track Gods faithfulness in our lives, which will help us deepen our relationship with Him. Tracking His faithfulness will teach us to trust Him. Father, we thank you for being such a faithful God! Thank you for always fulfilling your promises! May we continue to be more and more like you each day. May we continue to have a desire to deepen our relationship with you. Please flood us with memories that will help us track your faithfulness! Please continue to remind us of your character which will help us trust you even more. please give us your strength to move along in this journey while we wait for you Lord! Thank you for constantly renewing us ! Thank you for your constant love for us! Thank you for being a consistent Father. In Jesus name. Amen.
