Permissive Will vs Gods will

Good Afternoon  gorgeous 👸🏽,

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus". 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 

Are you doing things based on your permissive will or Gods will? Gods will is bringing heaven on earth.  Heaven on earth consist of serving God and others, loving others as ourselves, giving thanks for all the gifts bestowed upon us, and giving thanks to the trials which are ultimately gifts as well! 

Our permissive will is doing the things we desire/ want without seeking God. Also, it is doing the exact opposite of what He told us to do. When you are going through extenuating circumstances are you rejoicing ? Or are you complaining? Research shows that complaining more than two minutes deteriorates your brain. 🧠 Not only are you affecting your brain when you do this but others as well. It is okay to vent for a couple of minutes but remember it does not align with His will to complain for a long period of time. If we hold onto things for long periods of time then it will be ingrained in our spirit. Next time when you find yourself constantly complaining ask yourself do you want that ingrained in your spirit? Is it worth carrying that with you in the present ?  Is it even worth missing out on the present? We shall go from a negative/limited mindset to a possibilities mindset. We shall think about all the opportunities God is giving us with obstacles. 

Do you constantly go to God first with your concerns or others? 

God wants us to come to Him first since He has all the answers. Well HE IS THE ANSWER! He just wants you to come have an intimate conversation with Him! Once you speak to Him it will lead to you receiving peace that surpasses all your understanding. Also, it will lead to you trusting Him, which leads to gratitude. Trusting Him allows us to have the capability to experience gratitude since we are aware that the Almighty is in control. For our good perfect ABBA is in control over our lives which knowing this leads to joy! Father, thank you for always being there for us! Thank you for being in control of everything! Thank you for your goodness ! Thank you for being the perfect Father! Thank you for being the answer! Please continue to move us to consult with you  first about every single detail of our lives. Please continue to move our hearts/desires to align with yours! Father, we need more of you and less of us! Please continue to give us a serving heart! We want to serve you and others! Please continue to push us to pray to you more! Please move us to have a grateful heart because gratitude is one of the best medicines! May we continue to trust in you throughout this journey! May we never lose grip of your hand through this journey ! Thank you for being willing to navigate this life with us! In Jesus name. Amen. 🙏🏽
