Blessings Follow Trials

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”

James 1:12 ESV

 Yesterday, my work laptop completely stopped working! Today, I was having issues with my internet!🛜 My internet went completely out. Every single person that I was interacting with was having issues with their internet as well. I completely understood it was a test from the Lord. I simply just did not understand why! Usually, I would get frustrated but this time I was not.. so I’m like God why is this happening! I asked a friend and God used her to tell me the truth! She informed me that God does not want me to complain about hating technology if I need it for our business/ministry! He wants me to appreciate the essential tool ! As I was reflecting on what she was saying, God planted a thought in my mind, which was choose to love this tool because you love me. For the internet is a gift from God ! The internet has helped us build communities during the pandemic, and provides us with an abundance of knowledge ! This knowledge applied to our lives leads to wisdom! For God wants us to become wise! He also wants us to appreciate everything simply because EVERYTHING is a GIFT!  I am thankful that my friend allowed God to use her because now I appreciate our friendship even more, and it completely renewed my mind. During the trial, I remained steadfast, but felt like it was deeper than just being patient. It was about showing my love/ dedication to Christ in every aspect of my life. There are things in this life that He wants me to do  or utilize that I simply do not enjoy but I appreciate it. The technology thing was one of the last things that He wanted to see if I could learn to appreciate it because He gave it to us as a gift! So please do not feel discouraged when you are being tested! Remain in Gods presence by being in His word, praying, and worshipping! Ask Him to help you focus on the deeper meaning as to why you are facing this trial, and He will reveal it to you! While you are going through it remain faithful to Him and ask Him to give you strength! Once you remain steadfast in your trials then you will receive the crown of life that our Lord promises! For God always keeps his promises, which is one of the reasons why rainbows 🌈 appear ! It is evidence that God keeps His promises! Father, we thank you for always keeping your promises! Thank you for always trying to make us align with you ! You want us to have all your characteristics which are all good ! We thank you so much for this ABBA! Please constantly renew our minds ! If there is things that you want us to do that we do not have desire to do which there will be then please  Father help us change our mindset! Help us to train our minds to do those things to honor you because we love you! Please continue to allow us to grow closer to you! Please allow us to shine your light on to others! So that they see a reflection of you! We repent of any sins that we are not aware of. Please continue to forgive us for any sins! Please forgive me Father for complaining! We thank you for your understanding, grace, mercy, guidance, and wisdom! In Jesus name. Amen. 🙏🏽
